Hoodoos Northern Lights Dance
The Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis Dance above Drumheller, Alberta.
I’m not sure if the coyotes were howling at the #northernlights or it was a coincidence that it had just gotten dark. Moon glowing behind me, I was slightly worried it might wash out the #aurora.
As the show started, I could hear the coyotes all around the Hoodoos in Drumheller. Knowing this, I knew my time was going to be limited. The #NorthernLights would put on a good strong show every 15-20 minutes before retreating back on top of the hill.
In the end, my time was cut short as a curious coyote was coming closer and closer. And while I wasn’t too concerned with the single coyote, it was the ones probably with him that didn’t know about that concerned me more.
None the less, I think I still captured a decent shot.
