I always found the Place Royale in Quebec City magical however I could never appreciate why. While preparing my small book for printing, I realized this is where Samuel de Champlain founded the City of Québec in 1608.

The cobblestone road, the oldest stone church in North America. Created a couple yeard ago, Samuel built a fort, store, trading post, and residence all rolled into one.
